Kawasaki showcased several new and interesting models on the international platform during 2016. Now, the Japanese-based manufacturer plans on introducing a few models in the Indian market as well. To be precise four new models are sure to be launched in India during 2017.
For 2017, Kawasaki will introduce all-new Ninja 650, Z650, and Z900 models. The three new models will replace Kawasaki's Ninja 650, ER-6N, and Z800 models sold in India. Kawasaki is most likely to launch all three models at a go sometime during next month.
As reported recently, Kawasaki has already commenced showcasing its modern/classic motorcycle at an Indian dealership. The Kawasaki W800 is being used to gauge if there is a demand for similar models in the Indian market from the Japanese-based manufacturer.
Once launched in the Indian market, all four models will target varying segments. The 2017 Kawasaki Ninja 650, Z650, and Z900 motorcycles will also bear a slightly more expensive price tag over its predecessor. W800 model could be priced closer to Triumph Street Twin and Harley-Davidson Street 750 motorcycles.
