Honda Confirms Production Of The All-New Adventure Scooter
Honda has confirmed that it would be putting its adventure scooter into production. The City Adventure concept was initially showcased at the 2015 EICMA Motor Show. Now, on the basis of Honda's concept, the all-new Adventure Scooter has been christened as the 'X-ADV'.
The final production version of the Honda X-ADV will be making its debut at the 2016 EICMA Motor Show. General public will have their chance to witness the Adventure Scooter on November 8. So far, Honda has been teasing enthusiasts with a series of videos.
The all-new Honda X-ADV will be available in most international markets by 2017. Unfortunately, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has no plans on bringing it into the country. The X-ADV is an Adventure Scooter and for India, Honda will be introducing its Africa Twin model.
So far, Honda has not confirmed the engine that will power its X-ADV. The Adventure Scooter is most likely to adopt a 750cc parallel twin engine. Honda has only confirmed that the X-ADV engine will be equipped with a Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT).
