Honda To Hike Price Of Models Owing To BSIV Compliant Engines
Indian Government plans on reducing vehicle emissions in the country. Now, two-wheeler manufacturers will have to introduce BSIV (Bharat Stage IV) compliant engines. Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India will update its entire range with more fuel efficient engines.
Now, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India confirms their models will witness a price hike. Both motorcycles and scooters will witness a price hike of approximately between Rs. 400 to Rs. 1000. This information has been confirmed by Yadvinder Singh Guleria, Senior VP, Sales, and Marketing.
CB Hornet 160R from Honda was the very first model to feature BSIV compliant engines. Honda is amongst the very first two-wheeler manufacturers to adopt BSIV emission standards. The current range of scooter and motorcycle could get an engine update in the upcoming months.
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India is the largest selling two-wheeler manufacturer in the country. They are gearing up for the upcoming festive season as well. Stock for next 35 days has already been to provide customers with speedy deliveries.
