Honda Launches The 2016 Edition Of Dio At Rs. 48,264 In New Colour
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has launched its 2016 edition of the Dio scooter in the country. In terms of pricing, Honda has managed to maintain previous year's pricing. The scooter will continue to cost Rs. 48,264 ex-showroom (Delhi).
Powering the 2016 Honda Dio is a 109.2cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. The engine is capable of developing 8bhp, along with 8.77Nm of peak torque output. The 2016 Dio will attain a top speed of 83 km/h and the engine is mated to a V-Matic automatic transmission.
For 2016, Honda is offering one new colour option on the Dio scooter. The new colour option is called Matte Axis Grey and does not attract any special price tag. Colours like Jazzy Blue Metallic, Sports Red, Candy Palm Green, and Black will continue being offered.
Several design and style cues will be provided to the 2016 Dio. Honda will be fixing a premium and exclusive 3D emblem on all of its new scooters. This is the sixth generation, Honda Dio, very first moto-scooter by the Japanese manufacturer was introduced in 2002.
Currently, Honda exports the Dio out of India as well. The Dio moto-scooter is their top export product from India. Latin America, South America, Sri Lanka, and Nepal all receive export models and more countries could witness similar fate.
