The adventure touring bikes are slowly increasing its presence in the country with many enthusiasts taking unchartered destination to get away from the chaotic city life. Honda is planning to bring its adventure touring bike with the Africa Twin.
AltRider is an aftermarket company who focus on protective products for adventure touring bikes. Now, they have added another AltRider skid plate to their list which protects the 2016-17 Honda Africa Twin for any damage. The skid plate was designed to provide maximum protection to the bikes most vulnerable components.
Honda has designed the bike to go off-roading and off the pavement approach, AltRider has designed the skid plate not just to protect the bike but also give you the peace of mind and not worry about any damage to the bike.
The product was designed keeping in mind that it provides maximum strength, coverage, and ground clearance and at the same time it complements the bike's aesthetics.
The engineers from AltRider have taken into account the Africa Twin's dirt bike inspired frame rail, designing the skid plate to bolt to four locations with rubber shock absorbing bumpers on the frame for stability and strength.
