Honda Unveils Africa Twin Adventure Sports Concept
Honda has unveiled the Africa Twin Adventure Sports Concept at the 32 Osaka Motorcycle Show.
The new concept is a hardcore off-road version of the CRF1000L Africa Twin unveiled at the EICMA show in Milan in November 2015. It features a much larger bellypan which is made from aluminium as well as an upswept high-performance Termignoni exhaust.
The rear end of the bike has been redesigned as well and the seat is also a lot flatter like the ones on the Hondas from the MX range. The paint job reminds you of the old tricolor Africa Twins.
The rest of the bike remains the same and is still powered by a 998cc parallel twin-cylinder engine that produces 94bhp and 98Nm torque. The power and torque is sent to the rear wheel through either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission.
