Hero Xtreme 200S Will Be Launching In India Sooner Than Expected
Hero MotoCorp had showcased an array of two-wheelers at the 2016 Auto Expo in Delhi. The Xtreme 200S model drew loads of attention at the event. Now there is hope that Hero MotoCorp could launch the Xtreme 200s model sooner than initially expected.
It is promised by Hero MotoCorp that an all-new global motorcycle will be unveiled at Dakar Rally. Indian-based two-wheeler manufacturer is expected to introduce its Xtreme 200S there. Dakar Rally comes to an end during January 2017, which will mark the debut of Xtreme 200S.
In terms of design, Hero Xtreme 200S takes inspiration from the Xtreme 150 model. Designers, however, will make sure that Xtreme 200S will look sporty and aggressive than the competition. Once launched Hero Xtreme 200S will compete with Pulsar 200NS and Apache RTR 200 4V.
So far, no engine specifications or performance figures have been shared. Hero Xtreme 200S will be powered by a single-cylinder 200cc, air-cooled engine. The motorcycle will be equipped with disc brakes for front and rear wheel, providing adequate braking performance.
More updates details will be provided as and when Hero MotoCorp provides information. Hero MotoCorp is working on several 250+ cc models for the future. Stay tuned as interesting times are up ahead in the Indian and international market.
