Hero Passion Pro i3S Launched At Rs. 51,653 In India
Hero MotoCorp has finally launched its Passion Pro i3S motorcycle in the Indian market. The Passion Pro i3S is priced attractively at Rs. 51,653 ex-showroom (Thane). i3S technology was introduced by Hero MotoCorp in India back in 2014.
Powering the Hero Passion Pro i3S will be a 100cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. The engine will produce 8.25bhp, along with 8.05Nm of torque, and is mated to a 4-speed gearbox. So far, fuel efficiency figures have not been divulged by Hero MotoCorp.
The i3S technology features automatic engine start/stop, which is bound to improve efficiency. Hero MotoCorp introduced its i3S technology on the Splendor for the first time in 2014. Several other motorcycles are also expected to receive the i3S technology soon.
No major design changes have been carried out on Hero Passion Pro i3S motorcycle. The motorcycle will adorn an i3S badge on the rear side panel. A blue button is provided if owners want to switch off the start/stop mechanism, in place of the engine kill switch.
