Harley-Davidson Customers Voice Out Their Frustration — Out Loud
Harley-Davidson Street 750 customers are sending a powerful message to the bike manufacturer about faulty brakes.
The best-selling Harley-Davidson model in India is the Street 750. The motorcycle shot to fame very quickly because of its pricing in India (Rs 5.43 lakh), and soon became a popular cruiser on the Indian roads.
Customers did have issues though, regarding the brakes on the American cruiser. The 2014 and 2015 models did not have efficient enough brakes and customers, despite making multiple complaints, the issue has not been fixed.
Now, to make sure Harley-Davidson is listening, customers are addressing the issue, rather loudly.
Customers are up with boards and signs that read ‘Stop Playing With Lives', ‘Your Fault Is Killing Us', and even signs that read ‘Announce A Recall Or Go Back'.
Customers have gone that extra step to even make T-Shirts read ‘Harley-Davidson Street 750 Faulty Brakes'.
To spread the message efficiently, customers have also stickered up their vehicles, sending a message to fellow bikers, hoping Harley-Davidson would lend a ear and fix issues.
The Harley-Davidson Street 750 is powered by a 749cc, liquid-cooled V-Twin engine that makes 47bhp and 59Nm of torque.
The Street 750 comes with a belt drive and braking duties are taken care of by disc brakes at both ends. Harley did face an issue regarding braking, and as an update, launched the Street 750 with optional ABS.
