Flying Harley Davidson Crashes On Maruti Baleno's Roof, Injures Driver
A bizarre crash on the streets of Mumbai ended up with a Harley Davidson on the roof a car.
The crash saw the 51-year old car driver end up in the hospital while the biker ended up cuffed, explaining his actions.
The accident occurred on Friday at SV Road in Santacruz (West), when the over-speeding Harley rider, identified as 30-year-old Ravi Pageria tried to avoid a pedestrian who was crossing the road.
Pageria slammed on his brakes to avoid the pedestrian but he slipped off the bike as it slowed down.
With its rider not at the helm, the Harley kept on moving until it hit the divider. The impact caused the bike to fly into the air and unfortunately landed on the roof of a passing Maruti Suzuki Baleno.
The driver of the Baleno was admitted to a local hospital while the bike rider will face a criminal trial for rash driving and for causing grievous hurt by an act endangering life or personal safety of others.
