Ducati’s XDiavel Is A Hit — Before It Hits The Showroom

motorcycle
segment,
the
XDiavel
is
a
hit
in
Indian
market
even
before
the
motorcycle
lands
in
showrooms.
Ravi Avalur, MD, Ducati India, confirmed that the motorcycle has received good response from customers, although he did not mention the exact number of units sold. The XDiavel is priced in the range of Rs 15.7 to Rs 18.5 lakh and have been chosen by motorsports enthusiasts, majority from Bengaluru.
The Italian motorcycle brand made its comeback to India in early 2015 with direct involvement in sales. The Ducati range of motorcycles are priced in the range of Rs 7 to Rs 55 lakh, among which the motorcycles costing between Rs 12 to Rs 18 lakh are in high demand.
Between April and August this year, nearly 2,200 motorcycles in the 500cc to 600cc were sold, which cost around Rs 5 to Rs 10 lakh. Whereas, in the bigger segment of 1000cc, cruisers takes the chunk of sales figures in India.
