Dougie Lampkin Wheelies Across The Entire Isle Of Man TT Circuit
Dougie Lampkin, the 12-time World Trials Champion, has become the first rider in 45 years to wheelie across the whole 37.7 miles (61 Kms) of the Snaefell Mountain Course of the Isle of Man.
The circuit is well-known for being the host for the legendary Isle of Man TT races since 1911.
The record attempt was initially scheduled to take place on Saturday but was postponed due to poor weather conditions.
Lampkin completed the run in under two hours, maintaining an average speed of 60km/h as the roads were still open to the public.
Lampkin's biggest struggle was fighting the cross-winds on the mountain portion of the circuit. The bike he used for the stunt was a modified two-stroke Vertigo Combat Ice Hell 300cc.
