Delhi Stops Registration Of New BS-III Compatible Two-Wheelers
The Delhi government is no longer permitting the registration of new BS-III compatible two-wheelers in the national capital.

According to the Business Standard, the Arvind Kejriwal led Delhi government has stopped the registration of new BS-III models by manufacturers without an official order being issued.
Any new BS-III compatible bikes have to be registered before April 1, 2016, before the newer and harsher BS-IV emissions come into place. Models that have been registered before the 1st of April will have to upgrade to BS-IV from April 1, 2017.
Among the new bikes and scooters launched are names like the Bajaj V15 and the Royal Enfield Himalayan along with the Suzuki Access scooter and Hayate motorcycle.
