BMW Spied Testing An All-New Entry Level Adventure Motorcycle
BMW Motorrad along with TVS Motors has entered into the entry level segment. The G310R naked street fighter is their all-new offering. The all-new G310R by BMW Motorrad will be available in most developed markets prior to 2016-end, however, India could be getting it later on.
Now, BMW Motorrad has been spied testing an all-new motorcycle. An adventure-based motorcycle has been spied. The BMW F 310 GS Adventure motorcycle is most likely to make its debut during 2016 EICMA Motor Show.
Majority of components between the BMW G310R and F 310 GS will be shared. This would be the third product to be developed from TVS Motors and BMW Motorrad partnership. Currently, the BMW G310R is made in India and the Akula 310 followed by the BMW's F 310 GS will be manufactured at TVS' facility.
Powering the BMW F 310 GS Adventure motorcycle will be the same 313cc single-cylinder engine. BMW Motorrad engineers could re-tune this engine to suit an Adventure motorcycle persona. Currently, the naked street fighter produces 34bhp and 28Nm of peak torque.
The F 310 GS will adopt design language from BMW's GS Adventure motorcycle range. Once launched, the BMW F 310 GS will compete against KTM's soon to be introduced 390 Adventure. Stay tuned for more updates as we get closer to 2016 EICMA Motor Show.
