Spied: Benelli Cafanero 150 Scooter Spotted Testing In India
The new Benellli Cafenero 150 has been spied testing on Indian roads. The 150cc scooter was seen testing on a stretch of the NH4 near Pune, Maharashtra.
The lightly camouflaged Cafenero 150, barely hid any of its main design highlights. The new Cafenero 150 looks quite muscular and features a large windscreen and angular headlamps which in typical Benelli style are twin units.
The Cafenero 150 features 5-spoke alloy wheels on both ends. Both wheels were shod with disc brakes. The rear also features shock observers on each side and a rather chunky exhaust. The seat is a step up unit.
The new Cafenero 150 is powered by a liquid cooled, 150cc engine that produces 13.4bhp of power. The scooter weighs in at 150 kilograms.
It is not known when or if the new Benelli Cafenero 150 will be sold in India, but if it does come into the country it is is expected to butt heads with the Aprilia SR150.
