Bangalore Shops Selling Fake Motorcycle Spares Raided — Arrests Made

Fake or duplicate spare parts for vehicles is a common in India and cops are on a constant look out for such shops selling them. Recently, the police in Bangalore raided shops selling fake Hero MotoCorp products and made an arrest as well.

Officers attached to the Kalasipalayam police, along with Enforcers Of Intellectual Property Rights (EIPR), raided a shop on HKS Complex, JC Road, Bangalore and seized fake products that were being sold under the Hero MotoCorp brand name.

The police arrested one Mr. Manish Dave and also registered an FIR. The counterfeit products were seized with the help of Raghavendra P - Inspector, M Kumar - Sub Inspector, and team of Kalasipalyam Police Station.

When the shop war raided, police came across fake centre stands for motorcycles, chain kits, roller cam chains, and many other products, being falsely sold under the Hero MotoCorp brand name.
