Bajaj V15 Achieves 2 Lakh Sales Milestone; New TVC Launched
Bajaj Auto has an extensive product portfolio in India as well as for the international market. The V15 motorcycle is amongst the popular premium commuters from Bajaj Auto. Now, the V15 has achieved a sales milestone of over two lakh units since its initial launch.
Currently, Bajaj V15 is available in Ebony Black, Pearl White, and Heroic Red paint schemes. The V15 is priced attractively at Rs. 62,132 ex-showroom (Delhi). At this point, Bajaj Auto manages to sell roughly 30,000 units of V15 per month pan India.
Powering the Bajaj V15 is a 149.5cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. This engine produces 11.80bhp, along with 13Nm of peak torque, and is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Bajaj Auto has equipped its V15 with front disc brake and rear drum brake setup.
V15 motorcycle from Bajaj Auto is inspired by the INS Vikrant warship. The fuel tank of v15 is molded from metal salvaged from the aircraft carrier. INS Vikrant served the Indian Army during the Indo-Pak war of 1971 and was decommissioned in 1997.
