Bajaj Confirms New V12 Commuter Motorcycle — Price, Launch Date Revealed
Indian motorcycle manufacturer Bajaj has confirmed the name of the next V series motorcycle along with its price.
Indian motorcycle manufacturer Bajaj has confirmed that the next motorcycle in its V Series will be a 125cc commuter.
The new motorcycle will bear the name V12 and will be priced at Rs. 56,200 ex-showroom (Delhi).
The new V12's price was confirmed by Eric Vas, President (Motorcycle Business), Bajaj Auto at the launch of the Invincible Indians platform.
Vas also stated that the new commuter bike will launch in December.
Like its larger sibling the V15, the V12 will make use of some of the metal used to build the INS Vikrant but the amount used is expected to be quite small.
The new V12 will use a 125cc engine and will feature styling similar to one found on the V15. However, the new V12 is expected to loose the rear seat cowl from it larger sibling.
The V12 will compete with the likes of Hero's Super Splendor, the Yamaha Saluto, Honda's CB Shine SP among others in a very crowded 125cc market.
