Bajaj V-15 Production Increased Catering To Rising Popularity
Bajaj Auto recently launched its V-15 executive commuter in the Indian market. Deliveries of the motorcycle commenced from March 23, 2016. The occasion was marked with Bajaj's Invincible Ride with the partnership of Indian Navy Officers, who will ride across Maharashtra.
So far, Bajaj Auto has received an overwhelming response for its V-15 motorcycle. During February 2016, the Indian two-wheeler manufacturer managed to produce 2,500 units. In order to cater to the rising popularity of the model, Bajaj has decided to increase production.
Currently, the V-15 motorcycle is manufactured at Bajaj's facility at Pantnagar and Waluj. The first few months of a newly launched product is tough on production. Now Bajaj Auto is confident that they can eventually increase its production up to 1,000 V-15 units per month.
Previously, the Delhi Government had banned the registration of V-15 motorcycle. The reason behind it was that the engine was not meeting BS-IV emission norms. Now Bajaj Auto has received the green signal to sell its V-15 motorcycle in Delhi area as well.
The V-15 from Bajaj Auto costs Rs. 61,000 ex-showroom (Delhi). Bajaj currently is offering only two colour options on its V-15 motorcycle, in the form of Pearl White and Ebony Black. Customers are expected to get their V-15 models soon once production increases.
