Bajaj Reveals Avenger With BS IV Engine Upgrade
It seems to be the Avenger Street 150 has got the new upgraded engine. Powering this model is a 150cc DTS-i air-cooled engine.

Avenger
motorcycle
is
now
compliant
with
BS
IV
emission
norms
and
the
manufacturer
claims
that
it
is
the
first
motorcycle
to
have
this
upgrade.
But
last
week,
the
company
launched
the
2017
Bajaj
Pulsar
220F
which
has
the
BS
IV
compliant
engine.
Currently, in Bajaj's product lineup, there are three Avenger models: Avenger Street 150, Avenger Street 220 and Avenger Cruise 220. The company has not yet revealed that which of these models has the new engine.
It seems to be the Avenger Street 150 has got the new upgraded engine. Powering this model is a 150cc DTS-i air-cooled engine which churns out 14.54bhp of power at 9,000rpm and 12.5 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm.
Other two models: the Avenger Street 220 and the Avenger Cruise 220 are powered by the oil-cooled 220cc DTS-i engine that produces 19.03bhp of power at 8,400rpm and 17.5Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. All the Avenger range engines are mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
The Bajaj Avenger Street 150 comes with a price tag of Rs 76,989 (ex-showroom Delhi). Both the Avenger Street 220 and Avenger Cruise 220 are priced at Rs 87,331 (ex-showroom Delhi). Bajaj hasn't announced the pricing of the BS IV variants.
