Bajaj Avenger 220cc Finally Gets A New Colour – Is This The One You Wanted?
Bajaj has silently introduced the Avenger 220 Cruise in a new golden beige shade. This colour will be available along with the divine-black paint scheme and is priced as same as the other 220cc variants.
This new paint scheme is said to complement the Avenger's distinctive cruiser character. The golden coloured fender and tank, along with chrome accents give it the look of a traditional cruiser.
Powering the Avenger 220 Cruise will be the 220cc DTS-i engine from the Pulsar 220 lineup. The single-cylinder oil-cooled engine mated to a five-speed transmission produces 19bhp and 17Nm of torque. The engine on the Avenger has been tuned for better mid-range torque to improve your urban cruise.
The new Avenger has already become a hit among the Indian youth. While Bajaj has been consistently selling more than 15,000 Avenger 150's (Street) a month, the 220cc variants have also contributed a fair share of their market space.
With this new paint scheme, Bajaj is aiming to improve the sales numbers by boosting Avenger's classic appeal.
