Aprilia SR 150 Will Be Costly After Festive Season
Piaggio had recently launched the Aprilia SR 150 scooter in India, at an introductary price of Rs. 65,000 ex-showroom.
Stefano Pelle, MD, Piaggio India, said the introductory pricing will not continue for long and the company is already planning to increase the price in the festive season.
The vehicle has received a very good response from the market according to Pelle. He mentioned that the booking numbers are in thousands.
The SR 150 is manufactured at Piaggio's India plant in Baramati, Maharashtra. The SR 150 comes with a 154.4cc, 3-valve, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine, that produces a maximum power of 11.39bhp and a peak torque of 11.5Nm. The engine is offered with an automatic gearbox.
Booking of the SR 150 being accepted now at Vespa as well as Motoplex dealerships. The pre-booking option is also available through Paytm. The current pricing will remain the same till Diwali.
