Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa Intends To Start ‘Amma Two-Wheeler Service Training Centres’
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa has kick started quite a revolution in Tamil Nadu. She started hotels called Amma Unavagam that became a super hit and also prompted ideas in the neighbouring states.
Now, the Chief Minister intends to start 'Amma Two-Wheeler Service Training Centres' across the state, after she had promised the same during the elections during May this year. The service training centres will be set up in 35 locations across the state.
In a statement, Jayalalithaa said, "In each of the centres, training will be imparted to 30 persons for three months and they will be provided with a monthly assistance of Rs. 3,000." The scheme will be set up with a cost of Rs. 1.65 crore.
Also, the government will set up a Centre of Excellence and five skill development institutes under Public Private partnership with Siemens and Designtech at an estimated cost of Rs. 546.84 crore.
