Watch 2017 Triumph Street Triple Teaser — Launch Date Revealed!
The teaser of the 2017 Triumph Street Triple reveals the new motorcycle will set a new benchmark in power, weight, handling and looks.
Triumph Motorcycles will launch the new 2017 Triumph Street Triple on January 10, 2017, as per the new teaser video posted by the company. Close on the heels of Triumph unveiling the all new Bonneville Bobber, the company has teased a video of the new Street Triple pointing to the similar design of the headlight.
As per the teaser video, the new 2017 Triumph Street Triple will set "a new benchmark in power, weight, handling and looks". The new Street Triple will be launched in London and Miami simultaneously in January2017.
The Street Triple is a much-cherished bike that needs no introduction. The 675cc engine powering the current Street Triple has been there for long in the tooth, along with Euro 4 emission norms set to kick in anytime, and with Yamaha updating the MT-09, the Street Triple required a makeover as well.
The teaser video reveals the new Street Triple sporting Brembo brakes on the front fork and the headlights appear to be inherited from its bigger Speed Triple brother.
Also, the 2017 Triumph Street Triple is expected to be equipped with a range of electronic updates in the form of engine power modes, traction control, along with a fancy dashboard screen seen in the video.
If rumours are to be believed, Triumph will update the engine to 765cc and might come with theslipper clutch as well.
Recently, the 2017 Street Triple was spotted testing in Spain this year suggesting the bike is Euro4 compliant. In India, the Triumph is expected to launch the new Bobber first and later the Street Triple.
