Want To Race With Jorge Lorenzo (MotoGp Champion) At BIC? Read This Now!
30 lucky Yamaha YZF-R3 motorcycle owners stand a chance to meet and ride with Jorge Lorenzo at the Buddh International Circuit (BIC) in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India, 40 km from Delhi. Individuals that purchase YZF-R3 during August 11, 2015, to November 10, 2015, will be considered for this once in a lifetime opportunity.
During the India launch of YZF-R3, Yamaha officials had announced that Jorge Lorenzo would be visiting India by 2015-end. It has been confirmed that YZF-R3 owners will ride alongside Jorge Lorenzo at BIC on December 1, 2015.
The 30 individuals who will ride with Jorge Lorenzo will be chosen from a lucky draw. Anyone who owns a Yamaha motorcycle in India is invited for the event at BIC. Yamaha will be sending out official invites to the lucky individuals for a ride of their life.
Jorge Lorenzo rides for the Movistar Yamaha MotoGP team, alongside Valentino Rossi. Lorenzo has already won two World Championships and is eager to secure his third at Valencia GP on November 8, 2015.
Powering the YZF-R3 is a 321cc, inline two-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. This engine is tuned to produce 41.43bhp and 29.6Nm of peak torque. Power is delivered to the rear wheel by a 6-speed gearbox.
Yamaha is offering the YZF-R3 in two colour choices: Racing Blue and Black Lightning. The R3 is priced attractively at Rs. 3.25 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi). The YZF-R3 faces tough competition from Kawasaki's Ninja 300 and KTM RC390.
