UM Motorcycles Optimistic Of 3,000 Sales Per Month
UM Motorcycles will be introducing its range of two-wheelers in the Indian market very soon. The very first time UM Motorcycles showcased its products was at the 2014 Auto Expo. Three models will be introduced in India initially at the upcoming Auto Expo in Delhi.
The cruiser bike manufacturer, UM Motorcycles will be partnering with Lohia Auto. UM Motorcycles is an American brand and will locally manufacture products in India. The manufacturer is confident that they can sell over 3,000 models every month locally.
UM Motorcycles plans to export its cruiser bikes to other countries as well. Bangladesh, Nepal, and Sri Lanka will get the motorcycles soon after they are launched in India. Based on the model's success, UM Motorcycles could also introduce the motorcycles in other countries.
The American cruiser bike maker plans on introducing smaller capacity engines. UM Motorcycles will compete with the likes of Royal Enfield and its entire range. We expect pricing to be onwards of Rs. 1.45 lakh ex-showroom.
Renegade series from UM Motorcycles will spawn three models. The cruiser bike will sport a common engine, however, styling and design will be different on all three models. Stay tuned for more updates from UM Motorcycles prior to its launch.
