Royal Enfield Post Strong Sales & Growth Of 42 Percent In March

Indian two-wheeler manufacturer of cruiser motorcycles is slowly yet steadily increasing its market share. Royal Enfield has provided us with their sales report for March, 2015.

Royal Enfield has reported growth of 42 percent in terms of domestic sales. In March, 2014 they sold 23,170 motorcycles, while in March, 2015 they witnessed a jump up to 32,854 two-wheelers.

The Indian two-wheeler manufacturer witnessed an increase of 58 percent in exports. Royal Enfield exported 825 cruisers during March, 2015 and in the corresponding year during similar month they exported 523 units.

Combined sales for the Indian manufacturer stood at 33,679 units in March, 2015. During March, 2014 Royal Enfield accounted for 23,693 units. This is an increase of 42 percent and we believe growth will continue.

Royal Enfield plans on introducing new motorcycles in the coming years. They are looking at various options and there could be a twin cylinder engine in the making as well. Currently they have introduced a new colour option(black) to their Continental GT Cafe Racer model.

They have also launched their online merchandise store for Royal Enfield fans and followers. Available online is their entire range of helmets, jackets, boots and several other merchandise.
