Royal Enfield Appoint New President, Rudratej Singh
Indian two-wheeler manufacturer of cruiser motorcycles, Royal Enfield has had a successful 2014 in terms of sales. They are also among the fastest growing motorcycle manufacturers in the world. The manufacturer has several plans and product launches yet to come.
Royal Enfield has now appointed Rudratej ‘Rudy' Singh as their new President. This is one of the first changes for 2015 and there will be more. He will be based out of Gurgaon and will be reporting straight back to Siddhartha Lal.
Siddhartha Lal, MD & CEO Eicher Motors Ltd expressed, "Rudy joins Royal Enfield after spearheading global brands and businesses for almost two decades across emerging and developed markets."
He further added, "His extensive experience in marketing mix development and managing brand equity along with the rich global perspective will help us in our objective of becoming leaders in the mid-sized motorcycling segment. I welcome Rudy to the Royal Enfield family and look forward to working closely with him to make Royal Enfield a truly global brand."
Rudratej Singh served as a Vice President of South Asia, HPV and Foods Marketing Operations for Unilever in Singapore. He specialises is leading disruptive marketing and business models, which challenge status quo. His goal will be to make Royal Enfield the leader of mid-size motorcycle on a global platform.
