Rossi To Celebrate Yamaha’s 60th Anniversary At Goodwood Festival
Yamaha Motor Company will be celebrating their 60th anniversary in 2015. To mark this event Valentino Rossi will be making his debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2015 edition.
The festival of speed will be held on 28th of June, 2015. Goodwood festival is held in the United Kingdom. Here the best riders come and test their riding skills in a challenging environment.
The 2015 Goodwood Festival has a theme this year ‘Flat-Out and Fearless: Racing on the Edge'. This is exactly how Rossi would explain his riding style, thus making it a tailored event for the Italian.
Valentino Rossi is a huge fan of this iconic and legendary festival and is keen to participate. The Italian has received an invitation from Lord March, owner of Goodwood Festival of Speed.
The multiple MotoGP Championship winner will ride his Yamaha YZR-M1 at Goodwood Festival of Speed. He will ride his Japanese machinery along the 1.86 kilometres course.
Main attraction is the popular hillclimb, which has tight turns and is a technical course. It rises to almost 300 feet and tests the skills of even the seasoned rider.
