MV Agusta Partners With Kinetic Engineering To Sell Bikes In India
Ever since Daimler A.G. took over MV Agusta there have been rumours and speculations that the German manufacturer could bring this motorcycle brand to India.
MV Agusta had made it intentions clear that they were looking for an Indian partner to enter the market. The Italian two-wheeler brand will now partner with Kinetic Engineering in India.
Kinetic Engineering has been an existing partner with MV Agusta and seems like the most ideal partner to build their brand in India. In a way Kinetic too will be revived as a brand in India, so its a win-win situation.
Kinetic still has their facility in Pune, which could be used for assembling motorcycle if needed. MV Agusta will most likely introduced their products through the Completely Built Unit route.
It will be interesting to see if they would follow Triumph Motorcycles that offer a mix of CBU and CKD models in India. Mv Agusta could also gain sales in India if their vehicles are priced right.
MV Agusta will introduce its entire range of motorcycles, which include fully-faired, naked and adventure motorcycles. They could launch only a few products in India primarily as well.
