MV Agusta Most Likely To Enter India In 2015 With Domestic Partner

Motorcycling enthusiasts have been missing out on several two-wheeler brands in India. All this is bound to change as slowly yet steadily several motorcycle brands are entering India.

Italian iconic two-wheeler brand MV Agusta is now looking at options to enter Indian market. Their goal is to offer products during 2015 with the help of a local partner.

MV Agusta is most likely to bring its entire range of motorcycles through the Completely Built Unit(CBU) route. Their range include motorcycles with 675cc, 800cc and litre-class engines.

None of their motorcycles will be affordable as they would not be assembled in India. MV Agusta will be a premium motorcycle seller in India and selling huge numbers would not be top priority.

They will focus on developing their brand image in India primarily. The Italian motorcycle brand will compete with the likes of Ducati, Triumph and Kawasaki in India.

Currently DSK-Benelli is the new entrant in India and they offer affordable motorcycles, owing to local assembly. MV Agusta will have to explore this option incase they want to sell high volumes in India.
