MotoGP 2015 Battle Commences At Indianapolis GP On 9th August
MotoGP 2015 Championship to commence at Indianapolis GP on 9th of August, 2015. Qualifying will be held on 8th of August, 2015 at 23:40 IST on Ten Sports.
Two free practice have been completed and each and every rider has admitted that it is a difficult track. Tyre wear is major concern and several riders are focussing on race pace over single lap speed.
Surprisingly Honda who has dominated competition over the years is struggling. Yamaha seems to have found perfect bike setup with Jorge Lorenzo and his YZF-M1 motorcycle.
In free practice one and two Jorge Lorenzo was first, while Marc Marquez was second and very close. Ducati riders seem to be enjoying this track as it has long straights, however, tight corners is where they are losing time.
Biggest loser at Indianapolis so far is Valentino Rossi, who finished fifth and tenth in both practice sessions. The Italian riders mechanics will be working overtime to improve his bike.
Indianapolis will surely be an interesting round and we will be back with results and race details on Monday. Stay tuned for more updates via our Twitter handle as well over the race weekend.
