Marc Marquez Continues Winning Streak At 2015 Indianapolis GP
Marc Marquez made it five race victories at the Indianapolis MotoGP round, he has won twice in Moto2 and thrice in MotoGP. He has the most successful win record on American soil by a MotoGP rider.
The Repsol Honda duo started from pole and second position for Indianapolis GP. Lorenzo, on board his Yamaha was third, while Rossi struggled with qualifying and was down in eighth.
Nine points separate Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo, with Marc Marquez winning consistently he too could come into the equation. ‘The Doctor' needs to win races if he wants to maintain a lead in the Championship.
Rossi has maintained his 2015 record of being on podium at all ten races so far. The Italian has sighted that his problem is qualifying, starting from third row he has to fight for places and loses opportunities at winning the race.
Lorenzo was leading the entire race, except for the last few laps. Marc Marquez was closely following him and took over the lead easily during ending stage of Indianapolis GP.
Next race is scheduled for 16th of August, 2015 in Czech Republic at the Brno circuit. It will be interesting to see if the Movistar Yamaha duo can push for a victory and halt Marquez's winning streak.
