KTM To Organise Inaugural One Make Race Championship In India
KTM Orange Cup has been announced for Indian 390 Duke and RC390 owners. The KTM Orange Cup is being organised on December 6, 2015, at the famous Madras Motor Sports Club (MMRT) circuit in Chennai. KTM plan on organising a complete championship and this is the inaugural round.
The race will be organised under the strict guidelines set by Federation of Motorsports Clubs of India (FMSCI). KTM India will have to follow several safety guidelines in organising the races. This will be the first edition of KTM Orange Cup in India and is open only to owners.
All riders participating in the KTM Orange Cup will be facilitated with FMSCI licences. Sharing of motorcycles will not be allowed between riders. Separate races will be organised for 390 Duke and RC390 owners. Every participant will have to wear a one piece leather suit or a two piece leather suit with 360-degree zippers (where the jacket attaches to the riding trouser).
Currently, KTM has been organising only Orange Days across the country. KTM India will continue with its Orange Days for customers in various cities. Track days will also continue to be organised for owners, however, Orange Cup will be a proper One Make Championship.
For registration details, head down to your nearest KTM dealership. Participants from all over India can participate in the KTM Orange Cup. The winners will receive several exciting gifts from KTM India. Remember though, to participate you need to own a 390 Duke or RC390 motorcycle.
