KTM is currently partnering with Bajaj Auto for their India operations. They currently develop the Duke 125, Duke 200, Duke 390, RC 125, RC 200 and RC390 models, which are exported out.
They are also planning on developing an adventure motorcycle using their 390 power unit. KTM 390 Adventure will sport an all-new fairing and shock absorbers, trying to utilise most components.
Now the Austrian manufacturer is contemplating the launch of two performance oriented bikes in India. KTM is exploring options to bring their Super Adventure and 1290 Super Duke to the country.
For several years Indian motorcycle enthusiasts have been waiting for KTM to bring an all-new power packed motorcycle. Over the years there has been loads of speculation on which model suits our needs.
Both Super Adventure and 1290 Super Duke by KTM will extract loads of power from their engine. They will also come fitted with several safety and riding improvement aids as standard equipment.
KTM is expected to offer these products primarily as Completely Built Units (CBU) and could follow it up with Completely Knocked Down(CKD) units based on demand for these models in India.
