Kawasaki Z250SL Most Likely To Be Launched In India By 2015-end
Kawasaki currently does not offer any single cylinder motorcycle in Indian markets. Internationally it offers both fully-faired and naked street fighters in several countries.
Z250SL is most likely to be introduced by Kawasaki India as their sole single cylinder engine. Their plan is to launch this new product offering in India by 2015-end and attract larger audience.

- Engine: 249cc single cylinder, liquid cooled
- Horsepower: 27.60
- Torque: 22.6Nm
- Gearbox: 6-speed
In terms of styling it looks menacing and will surely attract Indian motorcycle enthusiasts. Our only worry is that most manufacturers are moving out of the quarter-litre segment in India.
Kawasaki has planned to introduce several other motorcycles in India and Z250SL could be introduced as a CKD to keep costs in check. Bajaj Auto could help the Japanese manufacturer further with localisation of certain components.
