Kawasaki Vulcan S Cruiser Coming To India In 2015
Kawasaki is planning on introducing new and improved products in Indian market. The huge diversity in Indian market means they cannot only sell superbikes and have to offer models in various other segments.
The Japanese manufacturer currently offers a wide range of motorcycles in India. They will, however, attempt at exploring cruiser segment in India with their Vulcan S model.
Vulcan S is expected to launch in India during 2015 itself and is expected to be locally assembled for better pricing. Kawasaki is planning on introducing several other locally assembled two-wheelers products as well.
Here are the technical specification of Vulcan S cruiser by Kawasaki:
- Engine: 649cc parallel twin, DOHC
- Horsepower: 61
- Torque: 62 Nm
- Gearbox: 6-speed transmission with positive neutral finder
- Cooling system: Liquid cooling
This cruiser by the Japanese manufacturer is offered in three colours for international markets. These include Candy Lime Green, Pearl Crystal White and Flat Ebony, it is unclear if all three options will be provided in India.
Kawasaki's Vulcan S will compete with the likes of Harley-Davidson Street 750, Hyosung Aquila Pro and Triumph's Bonneville as well. All these products are assembled in India and bear an impressive and competitive price tag.
