Kawasaki Versys 650 Most Probable India Launch By 2015-End
Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer, Kawasaki has recently introduced its performance packed Ninja H2 motorcycle in India. They have promised to launch several other products as well.
Now the superbike maker is planning on introducing its Versys 650 in India. The adventure motorcycle is most likely to be launched by 2015-end and will extend their line-up.
Here is the technical specifications of India bound Versys 650:
- Engine: 649cc parallel twin, liquid-cooled
- Horsepower: 71.08
- Torque: 64 Nm
- Gearbox: 6-speed
Currently Kawasaki is selling its Versys 1000 in India as their sole adventure motorcycle. The addition of Versys 650 will further increase the adventure bike segment in India.
The Japanese manufacturer will be providing its Versys 650 with the same engine that powers their Ninja 650 and ER-6N model. Most components will be similar to keep costs in check.
It is expected to be priced within INR 5,50,000 ex-showroom, prices. Kawasaki will price it competitively and will be a worthy adventure motorcycle for many enthusiasts.
