Kawasaki Launches Versys 650 Adventure Tourer For Rs 6.6 Lakh In India
Kawaski has launched the Versys 650 its Versys 650 adventure-tourer motorcycle in India. The new Versys 650 has been priced at Rs. 6,60,000 ex-showroom (Delhi) and will be retailed through Bajaj's Probiking showrooms.
The Versys 650 is powered by a 649cc liquid-cooled, four-stroke, fuel-injected parallel twin engine that produces 68.1bhp at 8500rpm with torque peaking out at 64Nm at 7000rpm.
The Versys 650 features 17 inch wheels and there a dual two piston semi-floating 300mm disc brakes up front and a 250mm single piston disc brake at the rear to bring the bike to a stop. The brakes are assisted by ABS.
The bike has a high clearance of 170mm and has an upright seating position as well. The Versys 650 has inverted telescopic front forks and an offset monoshock at the rear.
Kawasaki will be be importing the Versys 650 as complete knocked down (CKD) units from its plant in Thailand.
