Kawasaki KLX 110 Launches In India For Rs. 2.8 Lakh
Kawasaki launches the KLX 110 motorcycle in India for a price of Rs. 2.8 lakh ex-showroom (Pune). Unfortunately, it is not a street legal motorcycle and can only be used in closed circuits. The KLX 110 by Kawasaki is an off-road motorcycle for beginners.
Powering the KLX 110 is an 112cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, carbureted engine. The engine delivers 7.24bhp and 8Nm of peak torque output. Kawasaki has equipped the engine with a 4-speed transmission with an auto-clutch system for stall-free riding.
Braking force on the bike comes from 90mm front drum brakes while rear wheel gets an 110mm drum brake. The KLX 110 is built around a backbone, steel-type frame. The front suspension has a 30mm telescopic fork setup, and the rear gets a mono-shock suspension.
Kawasaki KLX 110 weighs only 76 kilograms, making it easy to use and manoeuvre. The seat height is set at 680mm, and the motorcycle has a ground clearance of 215mm. KLX 110 has a fuel storage capacity of 3.6 litres.
The KLX 110 is priced at a premium as it is launched in India as a Completely Built Unit (CBU). The majority of the buyers will have to be rich individuals, who want their children in motorsports. Kawasaki is offering Indian youth a great opportunity to begin their motorsport journey with a tameable off-road motorbike.
