Jorge Lorenzo Wins 2015 Czech GP & Leads MotoGP Championship
Jorge Lorenzo takes an authoritative victory at 2015 Czech GP, he started from pole and converted it into a race victory. The Spaniard is also now leading the 2015 MotoGP Championship.
Marc Marquez tried to match Lorenzo's pace, however, he could do so only in the opening laps. Valentino Rossi on the other hand was sandwiched between the two Ducatis that ruined his strategy.
Both Lorenzo and Rossi are co-leading the 2015 Championship, however, Lorenzo has the lead as he has won more races. Their closest rival is still Marquez who is slashing their lead constantly.
The top Ducati rider once again was Andrea Iannone who secured fourth place, while teammate Andrea Dovizioso was in sixth. Dani Pedrosa fought through lots of pain for fifth place at Czech GP.
The latest recruit for Aprilia, Stefan Bradl has secured his first points with the Italian team. He also defeated his teammate, Alvaro Bautista who has more experience on Aprilia RS-GP bike.
The next race is scheduled for 30th of August, 2015 at Silverstone in Great Britain. We are waiting to see if Valentino Rossi can retake the lead or if it will be all smooth sailing for Lorenzo from now on.
