Honda RC213V-S Caught Riding; Hear The MotoGP Bike For Street Use Rev

Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer Honda had showcased its street legal MotoGP bike at 2014 EICMA Motor Show. Honda was among several manufacturers to showcase new flagship sportbikes.

Honda christened its new sportsbike as RC213V-S, which has technology and bodywork inspired by MotoGP. Development of this motorcycle has come from the expertise of Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa.

It bears several similarities to the MotoGP RC213V bike by Honda. The production ready model will have similar carbon fibre components. It will adorn mirrors, lights and regular steel disc brakes.

The RC213V-S has been showcased in Japan and has been caught riding by Hiroshi Aoyama. Honda is most likely to officially unveil and launch this motorcycle in a few days from now.

Performance figures for this motorcycle has not been provided yet. It is also unclear if this is a one off model and Honda will offer limited RC213V-S models to customers.

Honda has not revealed any pricing of this motorcycle as well. The RC213V-S will compete with the like of Yamaha R1M, Aprilia RSV4 RR and Kawasaki's Ninja H2R sportbikes.
