Honda CBR650F India Model Technical Specs Revealed
The Indian market is getting more and more superbikes in the last few years. Brands like Harley-Davidson, Hyosung, Triumph, Kawasaki, Ducati, Benelli and many more want a share in Indian market.
Honda Motorcycle and Scooters India Pvt. Ltd. has a wide range of products on offer. Most of these products are commuter focussed and the company never really tapped into the premium offering.
The Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer had promised to launch its CBR650F model in India at the 2014 Auto Expo. Honda will now launch this product in the coming months before 2015-end.
Usually when superbikes are launched in India, they are tuned down to produce less power. Now here are the specifications of the India-bound CBR650F motorcycle.
- Engine: 649cc in-line four cylinder, liquid cooled
- Horsepower: 85.77
- Torque: 63 Nm
- Gearbox: 6-speed
Currently the Honda CBR650F is being pitted against the Ducati Monster 675, Triumph Street Triple and Kawasaki's Ninja 650. Pricing is going to be vital for Honda's success and rumour has it that the CBR650F could be priced in the INR 8,00,000 bracket.
