Hero MotoCorp’s HX250R Will Be Delayed Due To EBR Bankruptcy
Hero MotoCorp had partnered with Erik Buell Racing or EBR to develop a few motorcycles. The HX250R and Hastur were a few products that were fruits of this partnership.
EBR was also going to serve as a platform for Hero MotoCorp to enter several international markets with their new products.
Recently EBR declared bankruptcy and this will affect the outcome of their partnership with Hero MotoCorp. This in return will further delay the launch of HX250R in India and several other countries.
The Indian manufacturer was utilising EBR expertise for developing their first quarter-litre sports bike. American motorcycle manufacturer is known for building class leading performance bikes.
HX250R was supposed to launch in India during 2015-2016, it was first showcased at 2014 Auto Expo. Hero MotoCorp had also showcased several other motorcycles and scooters, which were scheduled to launch in India.
Hero MotoCorp is most likely to avail services of another manufacturer to finish their HX250R. Stay tuned for more information regarding HX250R and other motorcycles from the Indian manufacturer.
