Hero MotoCorp Xtreme Sports Gets A Performance Bump
India's largest seller and manufacturer of two-wheeler, Hero MotoCorp has a wide range of products on offer. One of their popular motorcycles is the Xtreme Sport, which has got a significant bump in power.
Hero MotoCorp's Xtreme Sports features an air-cooled, single cylinder 149.2cc engine. Previously this engine developed 12.6 Nm of peak torque output. Now the official website confirms that now the engine delivers 13.5 Nm of torque and 15.2 horsepower.
The Xtreme Sports engine is paired to a 5-speed gearbox. Riders purchasing this motorcycle can opt for either disc brakes or drum brakes for the rear wheel. The bike will have a kerb weight of 146 kilograms or 147 kilograms depending on, whether disc brakes are opted or not.

Hero MotoCorp has priced its Xtreme Sports motorcycle competitively:
- Xtreme Sports with front and rear disc brakes costs INR 76,500 ex-showroom, Mumbai.
- Xtreme Sports with only front disc brake costs INR 73,200 ex-showroom, Mumbai.
The Indian two-wheeler manufacturer was to launch a few new motorcycles in 2015. Hero MotoCorp's HX250R was among them, however, they have delayed the launch of motorcycles and will give priority to its scooter segment in India.
