Hero MotoCorp Duet & Maestro Edge Launch On 29th September
Hero MotoCorp will be launching two new scooters in the Indian market on 29th of September, 2015. The new automatic scooters will be poised to take on segment leader Honda Activa.
Hero MotoCorp had previously showcased both these scooters in concept guise at the 2014 Auto Expo.
Both scooters will share the same engine, however, design will be different. It is most likely that one will be targeted at younger audience, while the second will be aimed for mature customers.
Here are the technical specifications of Duet and Maestro Edge:
- Engine: 110.9cc single cylinder, air-cooled
- Horsepower: 8.31
- Torque: 8.3Nm
- Gearbox: Automatic
Hero MotoCorp will provide both scooters with telescopic forks upfront, while the rear gets normal shock absorbers. We are not sure if the Indian manufacturer will provide disc brakes as an option.
