Harley-Davidson Street 750 Recalled
American motorcycle manufacturer Harley-Davidson has issued a recall for its Street 750 and 500 models in Canada and this might extend to international markets as well.
According to the Canadian recall bulletin, 666 motorcycles made in 2015 have been affected by a faulty fuel pump inlet. The company says that these motorcycles may have a poor seal at the inlet.
This may interrupt the fuel supply under hard acceleration when the fuel level is low. This could cause the pump to fail to supply fuel.
Such a thing could make the motorcycle lose power, which may result in an accident.
Although the Street 500 is not sold in India, the Street 750 is. It is recommended that the motorcycle owners get in touch with the company about the issue since the defective motorcycle recalls could extend internationally.
