CS Santosh Dakar Rally 2015: Stage 9, 10 & 11 Update
CS Santosh, the first Indian rider to compete in the Dakar Rally 2015 stands at an impressive 36th position in the overall ranking for motorcycles.
The Bangalore based rider has followed his dreams to compete in the world's toughest motorsport, with an aim to prove to the world that cricket is not the only sport in India and he has done more than what was needed to prove it.
CS Santosh finished stage 9, 10 and 11 in 55th, 36th and the 32nd position respectively and gained climbed the overall ranking sheet ladder to the 42nd, 38th and now made it to the 36th position, after the three stages.
In the overall ranking, the race is lead by the unstoppable Spaniard, Marc Coma in first, closely followed by Goncalves in second and then by the Australian rider, Toby Price in third.
Joan Barreda has dropped to the 18th position after he suffered a crash in one of the earlier stages and lost his hard earned lead to Marc Coma.
Stage 12 of the Dakar Rally is 1025 km long and the first 725 km will be liaison and the remaining 298 km will be a timed special. Stay tuned for more updates from the 2015 edition of the Dakar Rally.
