BMW Motorrad Introduces Dynamic Brake Light For Six Models
BMW is constantly evolving and developing new technology for a safer experience. The German engineers have now developed a new system for six of their motorcycles.
German two-wheeler manufacturer has developed ‘Dynamic Brake Light' system for six models. It is a brake light that flashes during hard braking to warn followers behind.
BMW Motorrad will offer its Dynamic Brake Light to the following motorcycles:
- R 1200 GS
- R 1200 GS Adventure
- S 1000 XR
- K 1600 GT
- GTL
- GTL Exclusive
BMW will offer Dynamic Brake Light as a standard safety equipment from 2016 onwards. Currently it will be offered as an additional accessory for their motorcycles.
This safety feature is part of their ‘Safety 360' programme. Dynamic Brake Light has two stages, first stage involves brake light flashing during emergency or hard braking. Second stage involves hazard lights switching on as well till the bike gets back to speed.
