Bajaj Pulsar Adventure Sport Launching On 14th April In India
Bajaj Auto recently launched its Pulsar RS200 motorcycle in India, it is their first fully-faired bike. They have not promised to launch a new range of Pulsars in India on 14th April, 2015.
Their new motorcycle is being called as AS, which is short for Adventure Sport. This motorcycle has been spied on several occasions in recent times.
Bajaj is most likely to use the same powertrain and bse that power Pulsar 200NS. The AS will be their third motorcycle in their 200cc category. They will offer a naked, fully faired and an adventure-styled motorcycle in India.
Booking for Pulsar AS has already commenced and deliveries are expected soon post launch. Some dealerships have already the bike in their stockyard and could provide it soon after launch details are announced.
In terms of performance the Pulsar AS is expected to be no different from the 200NS:
- Engine: 199.5cc single cylinder, triple spark plug
- Horsepower: 23.16
- Torque: 18.3Nm
- Gearbox: 6-speed
- Fuel system: Carburettor
- Cooling system: Liquid-cooled
The Pulsar Adventure Sport is not expected to feature equipment like ABS and fuel-injection. Present at the unveil of these motorcycles will be Rajiv Bajaj, Managing Director, Bajaj Auto.
Expect at aggressive pricing by Bajaj once again with their Pulsar AS. We are expecting it to be priced lower than Pulsar RS200, as it is their flagship and AS will be their mid model.
